Tanya Menzies was born a rural artist. From a very early age she was found to be stealing bits & pieces out of her Dad’s shed, or scouring the creek with Mum after a good rain on the family farm for things to re-invent and up-cycle into fanciful wind-chimes, signs, sculptures and jewelry. Tanya and her Mother would always be exploring, even bring up clay ’rocks’ from the dam to grind and re-work into clay pots. Nothing was off limits. Things were to be played with & altered into contemporized works of art.
